Chesil beach before the seawall cafe

This is a slightly older picture taken on Portland’s Chesil beach before the new cafe was built, as you can see from the picture on the link it’s only taken from a different angle, from on the sea wall rather than under it like this picture above.

I think the cafe is a great addition to the sea wall and has kept visitors hanging around longer.

Plus they sell lots of ice creams at the right place … where there is a sun-drenched market ready to buy.
Looking at this picture it’s not hard to see how it’s made the sea wall, and Chesil beach a better place.

No doubt about it Quiddles has changed the face of Chesil, it's good to have refreshments literally at both ends with Quiddles at one and the Cove at the other. Makes for even more of a seaside atmosphere, it definitely beats Weymouth beach in my book. Needless to say I'm not a beach person, did all that kind of thing 30 odd years ago when my family were children. Love sitting along by the end of chesil with a J2o and choccy just watching the world go by sitting on one of the many seats generously donated by various people. Nice picture, Rob, good angle x
