I remember this cottage during a big storm, many years ago, we had gone inside for shelter. Suddenly there was an almighty clap of thunder and a flash of lightning struck something just outside, never been so scared in all my life. It would be a crime to demolish it, surely it could be preserved in some way!
I doubt they will allow it to be demolished, I have to agree this is one of these buildings that need to be renovated and preserved, it wouldn't exactly break a bank to do so either.
Sad to see these die off. there was a whole row along here 100 years ago, seems hard to imagine it.
