Portland UK : Chesil beach from the cliff path

With so much space that is always available on chesil beach it’s rare to see anyone this far along towards the bottom of westcliff’s imposing cliff face. It’s a small outcrop of rocks rather than pebbles along here.

The pathway to get here is a little awkward at certain points. The path itself has collapsed a little too, where it was made with tarmac that is.
This beach is basically remnants of the broken away cliff face. Looking back towards the cliff are huge blocks that broke away over the years.
With that in mind you should be aware they could break off any time, should you walk along here.  The cliffs are more stable farther along southwards.

must admit, never been along that far Rob, always been a bit apprehensive knowing that the cliffs can start to crumble at any time without warning – value my life too much x
